About Fiona

I am a teacher based in Auckland, New Zealand, and use this space to explore how the use of things 'digital' is making a difference to teaching and learning.

As a facilitator, I collaborate with educators to successfully inquire into practice to strengthen their capability to improve learning outcomes for all students. I am particularly interested in how web technologies can create new learning and teaching possibilities.

I have a Master of Education (First Class Honours) including a postgraduate focus on e-Education and educational leadership.

I have contributed nationally to Ministry of Education e-learning initiatives and I am a Google Certified Innovator and Google Educator Group Leader.

I currently collaborate with an awesome team of educators who are supporting schools through The Manaiakalani Education Trust.

As a supporter of educampNZ un-conferences  I use this blog, VirtualNorth Twitter and Google+ to share and connect with educators and learners.
